A Day of Community, Connection and Hope
Now in its 19th year, BRIGHT Run brings people together for a family-friendly, non-competitive walk or run with an important purpose: supporting breast cancer research right here in our community. BRIGHT Run
For our team, it was an opportunity to step away from our daily routines, spend time together and show our support for something bigger than ourselves. Being involved as a community partner is something we’re proud of, and having our team there made the experience even more special.
Giving back to the communities we call home is an important part of who we are. Days like this remind us why—not just because of the funds raised, but because of the connections made and the shared commitment to helping others.
Supporting Breast Cancer Research Close to Home
BRIGHT Run supports breast cancer research at Hamilton’s Juravinski Cancer Centre and McMaster University. Over the years, the initiative has helped fund 24 local research projects, supporting work in areas such as prevention, treatment and symptom management. BRIGHT Run
One of the things that makes BRIGHT Run particularly special is its community-supported approach. Community partners help cover the costs of organizing and hosting the event, allowing every dollar raised by participants to go directly to research.
