The former site of the James Street Baptist Church has been left in the dark for too long. This year, in the spirit of the Lunar New Year, there’s a surprise waiting for those looking to brighten up their evenings at the corner of Jackson and James Street South.

Millions worldwide know that the Lunar New Year is a time to embrace newfound wealth, good luck, and to bring prosperity home. That is why we are now inviting the entire city to take a trip to visit the newly-lit light tunnel at 98 James Street South.

Silk lanterns of bright colours line this 100-foot-long tunnel, in a variety of shapes and sizes, creating an immersive ambiance that is selfie-friendly and fit for Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, whatever!

Hue Developments is making their presence known in anticipation of their first Canadian project on this vaunted piece of Hamilton real estate. To introduce us to their vision for this city, they wanted to gift locals a part of their home and culture that we can all enjoy.

A prelude to their first Canadian launch, Hue’s lantern exhibit is a tribute to their culture of art, creativity, and centuries of tradition. Making their mark on Hamilton’s changing landscape, Hue is doing what they can to brighten up our cold Canadian winters.

Hue’s new multi-residential project is slated for launch later this year. Until then, please take a moment to visit this artistic light tunnel, take a picture with friends and family, and share it online. Plan a detour and light up your night, and your 2019, with #HammerHues.
